| 2005-05-04 yesterday, i pepsi challenged sean. you see, a few years back i had some friends working at one of the pepsi challenge booths and since then i've been a big advocate that pepsi and coke taste the same. sean was a perfect candidate. a self-described "die hard coca-cola fan" who was certain he'd be able to distinguish them. so i poured some coke in one glass, pepsi in another. he tasted both and arrogantly reported that he knew the answer. naturally, he was incorrect. we did it again and he failed yet again. the whole experience has made me hate coca-cola for their manipulative marketing techniques, making me feel like pepsi was totally nasty plus their disgusting treatment of workers in columbia. i also hate pepsi for their weird pepsi truck and the whole taco bell ownership hence exploitation for tomato pickers. sean and i might do a pepsi/coca-cola/rc challenge. anyways, this weekend lauren evans and i signed up for pipeworks gym. we worked out an then ate vegetables. then i was sick yesterday. interesting! |
